I met Phoebe, Gareth and Bracken on a very grizzly day back in February. As I said in my blog back then, not even the wettest day could dampen these two’s spirits and so we marched on with their engagement photos.
The weather for Phoebe and Gareth’s wedding day could not have been more perfect – glorious sunshine. It was such a delight to see all the months of planning come together. Phoebe, Gareth and their small army of family and friends did a fantastic job, utterly transforming Compton Village Hall.
I am a real sucker for tradition and family connections, so I loved to see Phoebe get ready at her parents’ home (with Bracken there too of course) and have her old school bus ‘The Compo’ pick her up to take her to the local church. Phoebe was a stunning bride and most importantly, she was incredibly relaxed. Nothing was going to stress Phoebe out on her wedding day.
The church service was beautiful as was the setting for their family portraits after the ceremony. A short walk to the venue and Mr & Mrs Elliott could enjoy the party they had worked so hard to put together. The party started during the Best Man’s speech – an impromptu Spice Girls dance and sing-a-long! The attention to detail was exceptional and when we left the dance floor was certainly filled and Phoebe was twirling her way to a fantastic evening!
