And just like that, my maternity leave is over. I’ve loved spending every day of the last 10 months with my twins. So much so, that I’ve decided to leave the day job behind and finally take the plunge and pursue photography full time – giving me the flexibility to be at home with my little ones but still capture other people’s memories with theirs.
I can’t think of a better way to kick start things than a family photography session with a family I last saw nearly 18 months ago. I always love to photograph families for a second, third or even fourth time…it always amazes me how much the little ones have changed. This photoshoot was about capturing not only those changes, but also documenting a moment in time – the family’s time as a family of three before their new arrival. We were also lucky that this little one’s grandparents were in town so they could get involved in the shoot too – a true family photoshoot.
